Getting tied up to a fixed dock in Florida can be a real challenge. We should have done some lasso practice when Julia had her steer.
If someone describes water as "sporting" - it's crazy out there. Don't go.
Mooring balls are great in theory and if all conditions are really good. Otherwise, not so much.
Dolphins still give us delight.
Pelicans are marvelous.
Manatees have marching molars (they continue to sprout new ones in the back and as the ones in the front fall out they move up like a conveyor belt.)
Fort Pierce has an incredible farmers market.
People we have met are really wonderful and generous.
Old friends make new places feel like home.
