Things I've Learned - Weeks 3 and 4

I don't know how it's possible that we've been traveling for 4 weeks now....what day is it anyway.

1. Community is where you make it. And I love it.

2. We STILL have a lot of the provisions we brought on board in Chattanooga. I thought we'd have eaten more beans.

3. I'm kinda glad we haven't eaten more beans.

4. Our boat shower is just fine.

5. Some marina showers are not just fine.

6. Coin laundry is expensive. I paid $5.50 for ONE load in a washer in Apalachicola. I almost had to walk the half mile back to the boat to get more money.

7. The kindness of strangers is heart warming and has renewed my hope in humanity.
